Hi, I'm Nicola

I understand exactly how it feels to struggle to balance work and life.

When I went back to my career as a Secondary School Teacher, after having my second daughter, I found myself literally running from work to make it in time to pick my kids up from childcare.

Between work and kids, I had little time and very little bandwidth left over for much else. My life felt like one big responsibility.

I wanted to excel in both my 'jobs' but felt like, not only was I was failing, I was losing myself in the process.

One day it hit me, soldiering on and permanently living on the edge of burnout wasn't just robbing me of joy, it'd eventually rob me of my relationship with my daughters.

The thought of losing the close bond we shared terrified me and forced me to get real...I was struggling because I wasn't looking after myself.


I used to go to yoga classes 3-4 times a week and, having also trained as a yoga teacher years before, I knew it was the key to managing my stress and injecting joy back into my life but I didn't have time to go as often as I knew it'd take to make any difference.

So, I took what I'd learned in over 300 hours of training and adapted it to fit my hectic lifestyle.

After a few months, I started to feel more like myself. I was on top of things at work. I laughed more with my kids and could look them in the eye and give them my full attention when the spoke to me... They felt seen and I felt so grateful.

Now, it's my mission to support as many people as possible to manage their stress in a way that's fast, effective, and sustainable (and enjoyable!) for their busy lives. 

Because if we CAN'T reduce the demands on our time, we HAVE TO increase our tolerance to stress and be able to replenish our energy quickly.

We. Are. Not. Machines.

And even if we were, machines still need to be recharged.
